Development Designer

A leading point of sale/retail business are seeking to recruit a Contract Development Designer to join their team to assist with the development of a range of high-end retail/point of sale layouts for some of the UK's most prominent brands.

As Development Designer will you be responsible for:

• Development of retail layouts for shop fitting.
• End-to-end project management of multiple projects from concept through to manufacture.
• Layout including wiring/electrics and security appreciations.
• Work with external manufacturing partners and other suppliers.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Proven experience as a Development Designer in the Point of Sale/POS retail space
• Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BEng or BSc in Product Design Engineer/Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience in the design of plastic injection moulded, timber and sheet metal structures.
• 3D CAD - Must have experience in the use of Inventor
