Test Development Engineer - £45k-£65k - Cambridgeshire - Test Rig DesignPlatform Recruitment is collaborating with an automation company developing life changing products. They’re looking for experienced Test & Development Engineers to work in a multidisciplinary team and develop bespoke test rigs to enable rigorous testing. You will steer the development towards a reliable and robust system through the creation of bespoke test environments, hands-on testing, and experimental work. You’ll be involved in electro-mechanical assembly and testing of components, systems, and later transfer to manufacture.Main Duties:+ Create bespoke test environments+ Perform hands-on testing and experimental work+ Electro-mechanical device assembly and testing+ Conduct reliability testing+ Facilitate transfer to manufactureSkills and experience required:+ Design & build bespoke test rigs+ Robust technical analysis and documentation skills+ Experience in electro-mechanical assembly+ Proven experience in reliability testing methodologies+ Develop test scriptsThe salary will be between £45,000-£65,000 depending on experience.
