Development Lead

Role: Development Team Lead Location: Cheltenham Salary: £80,000 Locke & McCloud have partnered with an established and reputable consultancy who are seeking an experienced Development Lead to take responsibility for this organisation's product development and SaaS- based services. This is a hybrid role where the successful individual will travel into the Cheltenham office a few times a week. Other travel will vary depending on client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Responsibility for the delivery of functionality to an agreed project plan, working with our PMO team to produce and maintain detailed project plans. Designing security software solutions: your primary role as head of development is initially one of a manager as the team grows, creating and developing bespoke software solutions that are to be delivered to users within our client base, as well as on occasion in-house. Responsibility for liaising with the company s management team and other staff members, working on application and service requirements from concepts and using your experience to develop and deliver end-to-end solutions for the software solution. Production of documentation associated with the code base and software solution such that another developer, architect or service deliver manager can understand and continue the service development / delivery at any time. About you: Experience in production of quality code within an Enterprise environment. Demonstrable experience in the successful delivery of end-to-end software development. Experience working in a DevOps environment with strong knowledge of cloud-based architecture and software development / deployment. Attention to detail: preventing data breaches and cyber-attacks needs vigilant and detail-oriented individuals. With attention-to-detail, you can identify loopholes in the software and devise ways to improve security. Project management experience. Experience of taking a project to market from start to finish. Experience working in the security sector. Experience of product ownership. Current UK Security Clearance.
