Development Manager £50 million Residential PRS investment - London Our client is an exceptionally well-funded investment, development and management business focusing on the single-family housing PRS market. They have expanded rapidly over recent years with a number of high-profile acquisitions and with ambitious growth plans and a £500 million development pipeline they are looking to hire a Development Manager to join their team Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000 Benefits Bonus The Role: The successful Development Manager will be joining a small development team managing the forward funded development partners across multiple sites in the Southeast of England providing single family PRS housing. The role will have involvement across the full development cycle from acquisition to hand over from an investment, owner operator and technical delivery viewpoint and will report into the Head of Development and stakeholders in the wider business. Core elements of the role will involve managing external consultants and the programme (Oracle Primavera) and cash flow across c.5 10 sites (500 units) with a total construction cost of c.£50 - £100 million keeping a close check on quality, time and cost. They are looking for a driven individual, that is interested in driving their career forward in the residential PRS sector. Due to the expansive nature of the role, they are open to seeing people with experience in project management, quantity surveying, development management or project / fund monitoring who have a good head for numbers to oversee the budgets, cash-flow, and funding agreements. Requirements: Degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying or Real Estate RICS qualified preferred but not essential Experience in residential PRS/BtR, House building or strategic land developments Good experience overseeing multiple high value projects at different stages of delivery Computer literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel packages Working knowledge of Primavera advantageous but not essential High level of written, verbal communication and time management skills This is an excellent opportunity to join and exceptionally well backed expanding business with a growing £1 billion portfolio and a good team culture.
