Thy are looking for an experienced Junior Town Planner to join heir Planning team, in Manchester! This exciting client-side opportunity is perfect for a motivated Development Planner to gain experience working with high profile projects and forge a career path.

The Role:

The Planning team specialise in securing planning permissions, site appraisals, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will be providing professional support in advising on and preparing planning submissions (policy, appraisals, applications etc). You will be working as part of the Planning Team in the Manchester office, with the support of the Senior members of the team.

Essential Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications required

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Planning, either Private or Public sector
• Eligibility for MRTPI
• BSc qualification in planning or related field with relevant modules
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and able to prepare/give presentations
• Good organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of planning, the land development process and associated legal, technical, political, market and economic influences
• Knowledge/experience of development appraisals, master planning, planning applications/appeals and management of internal/external project teams
