You’ll need to have an optimistic outlook and enjoy working as a member of a team, leading and directing from the front.Responsibilities:You’ll bring ideas to life with interactive, engaging digital experiences.As part of the role, you’ll work closely and engage with clients to identify their needs and requirements, creating solutions for customers to meet their objectives using a range of digital approaches, such as websites, applications, API integrations and more... Design solutions for clients and produce comprehensive briefing documentation for internal stakeholders, and client-facing documentation to explain the solution.Support the development team and all other teams in the design, implementation and support of websites, applications and other digital services for existing clients and prospects across various sectors and segments.Support and advise internal teams, with expertise where required.Supported by the project manager, be responsible for ensuring that assigned projects are delivered on-time, on-brief and to the agreed standard.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to manage workload and schedules.Be positioned as an expert consultant in the digital transformation, architecture and solutions space across IT, marketing and sales operations.Lead both face-to-face and virtual workshops with clients to conduct effective discovery and gather requirements.Attend regular client calls, huddles and input into WIPs where required. Travel to client sites across the UK and internationally where required.Skills Required:TechnicalExperience as a software developer, with an understanding of different development languages and frameworks (ideally web based technologies, with a JavaScript focus such as Reactjs.)Experience and understanding of data structures and databases including SQL, GraphQL and MongoDB.An understanding of hosting infrastructure for websites and applications including cloud-based architecture, serverless and micro services.An understanding of Domains, DNS, Routing, HTTP headers.Understanding of security considerations and technologies and authentication methods, with the experience to advise clients on the most secure approach to their solution.Understanding of different types of APIs including REST, GraphQL, SOAP.Experience with version control (ideally git).Understanding and experience implementing projects with the software development lifecycle.Solutions DesignA creative thinker who can bring ideas to life with interactive, engaging digital experiences.An innovator who enjoys building solutions to solve complex creative and technical problems.A self-confessed ‘geek’ who is excited by the latest innovations in platforms, technology and techniques.Someone willing to learn and continuously develop as techniques, technology and requirements advance and change.A strong understanding of UX & UI and experience developing experiments, pattern libraries and wireframes.Experience designing a range of solutions for our client’s customers. Such as websites, applications and physical technology.Experience designing integrations between systems using a mixture of methods in the enterprise space.A strong understanding of the legislative landscape around digital solutions, including GDPR, CCPA, ADA etc.
