Forsyth Barnes is partnering with a leading e-commerce organisation to recruit an E-Commerce DevOps Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage and optimise software deployment for high-traffic B2C websites and shopping apps, ensuring top-tier performance and reliability.

Key Tech Stack:

• �CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins, GitLab, Selenium, PowerShell, Bash


• �Monitoring & Observability: New Relic, Elastic Stack (ELK), PRTG, ScienceLogic


• �Performance Optimisation: Lighthouse, caching (Squid Cache, F5 Load Balancer)


• �Security & Compliance: OWASP, UK-GDPR, PCI-DSS


• �Infrastructure & Networking: Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), disaster recovery planning

Key Responsibilities:

• �Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.


• �Monitor and optimise website performance, ensuring uptime and scalability.


• �Implement security best practices and compliance policies.


• �Enhance system observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting.


• �Collaborate with engineering teams to drive DevOps best practices.
