This is an exciting opportunity for a Diagnostics Technician to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for fault finding, repairing and assembling devices using power tools and hand tools. The ideal candidate will have electronic knowledge and be able to read schematics, and be able to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
Testing to relevant procedures and specifications using the appropriate customer/CTDI software and field configuration.
Component level diagnosis on customer field returned units, with or without the aid of drawings and circuit diagrams.
Replacing defective surface mount and conventional components using standard soldering techniques.
Identify and undertake repairs to return product to the required standard.
Documenting all repairs on internal databases.
Disassemble/reassemble/clean & prepare customer field returns.
Re-configure hardware to manually test products as necessary.
Prompt identification of problems regarding process, quality, and performance.
Provide constructive feedback to Engineering and Management on technical and quality issues.
Practical knowledge and experience of department test equipment.
