About the role Are you looking for a global role to accelerate your growth and development? We have an exciting opportunity for you to explore. The role reports into Head of Value Management Office (VMO) and Global Functions Finance and works closely with the Chief Digital and Technology Officer and their leadership teams and sub functions. This is a Global Finance Director role accountable for the control of consolidated financial planning, forecasting and reporting for the Digital & Tech Costs in Haleon. You will provide financial and strategic insight to leadership to actively contribute to shaping and delivery of overall financial targets and performance. Scope includes financial planning, decision support, restructuring support, process simplification, financial management and governance. The FD needs to demonstrate experience of leading a large-scale Tech function, commercial acumen, strategic insight, rigorous analysis, proactive challenge and exceptional execution. Senior stakeholders (mainly Senior Vice Presidents) across the organisation interact and depend on this role. This is a highly commercial hands-on role, that is required to give executive support and guidance on ad hoc projects/ subjects to help drive delivery, tech enterprise risk topics and other change/ strategic initiatives across Tech & Digital and to the broader business. You'll enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced, problem-solving environment that requires you to think and act quickly to address strategic and day-to-day business priorities. Key roles and responsibilities include: Leading the preparation of Plans and Latest Estimates for Digital & Tech (OPEX, CAPEX, OE, Working Capital). Develop and drive guidance, instructions and timetables. Control data capture, consolidation and input/reconciliation to reporting systems. Coordinate and drive review meetings with the Chief Data & Technology Officer (CDTO) and CFO as required Demonstrate senior-level expertise in Tech & Digital Finance topics. Proactively collaborate with the Tech & Digital LT, VP Procurement, VP Finance, along with other Functional and BU professionals to drive strategy, cost optimization, attainment of savings goals, and the mitigation of risk. Lead robust capital investment process for Tech assets and drive analysis and challenge for resource allocation and investment decisions, particularly around capital asset investment, capability transformations and major global platforms Manage project prioritisation and provide robust challenge to investment plans to ensure the maximum return (Big Room Planning) for Tech & Digital programs across the company, ensuring strong partnership with counterparts in Finance and the wider Business, and prepare corresponding investment cases when required. Be a thought leader and strong partner to the Head of Tech and the Tech & Digital leadership team across all Financial aspects. Provide challenge and direction to the leadership team on BAU, business cases and projects. Effectively lead and develop a high performing team of finance professionals that support the global function Requirements/Qualifications Bachelor's degree MBA or Accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent) Basic Requirements Experience in financial controlling, Tech finance partnering, or financial audit roles with a deep understanding of management reporting and financial planning. Demonstrated experience in finance business partnering with senior business stakeholders. Understanding of Tech and Digital in general and Tech Finance specific topics (SaaS, DaaS, Cloud Computing, Cyber, AI etc) Experience leading diverse teams and working in a global organisation across a matrix environment with cross-functional stakeholders. Proven track record of building relationships and influence at the highest levels of the business, and think strategically in order to effectively partner non-finance stakeholders to support the execution of their business plans. Ability to act as a catalyst for change through strong Finance Partnering and Leadership Strong communicator with experience working in English speaking organisations. Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and ask the right questions to achieve the optimal outcome. Preferred Requirements Supply Chain and / or FMCG industry experience Digital & Tech industry or finance partnering experience.
