Alpine Formula One Team have a new opportunity as a Digital Communications Strategist to join our Communications Team.



Digital Communications Strategist – The Role



As a Digital Communications Strategist, you will be responsible for leading Alpine Formula One’s Digital Media Team, providing direction, support and guidance to members of the Team. With the support of the wider Marketing and Communications team you will work in collaboration with the Content Team, freelancers and contractors to support with Digital Media output and deliverables



Key responsibilities include:


  • Collaborate with the Marketing functions and align Digital Media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and objectives with partners

  • Filter and prioritise incoming internal requests and account manage partner contractual rights specifically linked to Digital Media posts and campaigns

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Digital Media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive traffic

  • Work closely with Digital Media agencies to support with delivering overall marketing and communications objectives

  • Write and build detailed briefs to support agencies on topics inc. [but not limited to] channel management, community management, specific partner campaigns and producing Digital Media content [graphic, images, videos]

  • Create, curate, and manage published content [inc. images, video, written] across various Digital Media platforms

  • Work with the Fan Engagement Team to co-develop CRM strategies and expand data capture opportunities and fan databases

  • Oversee the Editorial Plan and regular uploading of content to the Alpine Formula One Team website

  • Monitor and analyse Digital Media performance using analytics tools, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business goals

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest Digital Media trends, tools, & best practices, and incorporate them into strategies and tactical implementation

  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive community around the brand

  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and research to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

  • Prepare regular reports on Digital Media performance and present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders

Digital Communications Strategist – The Person



The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Digital Media or Social Media Strategist – or similar role with in depth knowledge and understanding of various Digital Media channels, their respective audiences and best practices.  You will also have:


  • Strong analytical skills and experience with analytics tools [e.g. Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and original content

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a Team

  • A portfolio or examples of previous partner campaigns is highly desirable

  • Ability to work with teams who operate globally and internationally with different working practices and cultures
