A Manufacturing client of ours in Stowmarket requires a Part-Time Digital Content Creator to join their company ASAP! A maternity cover position working 2.5 days per week (days and times to be discussed) paying �15.00 - �16.40 per hour (�28,000 - �32,000 pro rata) depending on experience.

This Marketing position is an essential part of raising brand awareness in the UK and overseas for an exciting company!

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, your key duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop a comprehensive content strategy that supports the company's marketing objectives and brand positioning.
  • Plan and maintain a content calendar, coordinating content creation efforts across different teams to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
  • Written Content: high-quality written content, including blog posts and articles ensuring all written content is SEO-optimized, engaging, and tailored to the needs of our target audience.
  • Visual Content: Create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and other multimedia content using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
  • Video Production: Plan, script, shoot, and edit multi-purpose video content.
  • Photography: Capture high-quality images of products, events, and company activities to be used in digital and print marketing materials.
  • Develop content for social media platforms, monitor responses, track and analyse performance metrics for reporting.
  • Website content management.
  • Create and distribute promotional content for trade shows, developing e-content.
  • Ensure that all digital content is integrated with broader marketing campaigns, aligning with campaign goals and amplifying reach across digital platforms. Coordinate content rollouts to support product launches, seasonal promotions, and strategic initiatives.


Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Digital Content Creator role:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field and/or professional certifications in digital content creation, social media management, or graphic design would be desirable but are not essential.
  • Proven experience in digital content creation, preferably in a B2B environment or within the manufacturing or heavy equipment industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing social media accounts, producing high-quality written and visual content, and executing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of digital content, including writing samples, graphics, videos, and social media posts.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to different tones and styles.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles, content optimization techniques, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to industry events or company locations for content creation purposes.
