We are seeking a Digital Editor to lead our digital strategy and content execution. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team at an exciting time as we continue our ambitious growth as a digital-first brand.
The Digital Editor will be responsible for managing and executing content strategies for SpearsWMS.com, ensuring that content is SEO-optimised, engaging, and aligned with the brand's values. The role will also oversee Spear’s social media channels and email newsletters, driving community growth and engagement.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage all digital content across platforms, including SpearsWMS.com and spears500.com
Collaborate with the Head of Research to continuously improve Spear’s 500 and other rankings content
Oversee and grow Spear’s social media presence, particularly on LinkedIn
Plan and execute effective digital content strategies
Develop and expand the Spear’s newsletter offering
Ensure content adheres to SEO strategies and is on-brand
Monitor and analyse website traffic, adapting strategies to increase engagement
Manage key client relationships and deliver successful client content campaigns
Skills and experience:
Proven experience in a Digital Editor or similar role within a high-profile media brand
Strong understanding of SEO and analytics for web content
Expertise in managing social media platforms and building engaged communities
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to develop long- and short-term content plans and deliver them effectively
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-driven
