Job Title: Digital Marketing ManagerSalary: £45KContract: Full-Time & PermanentLocation: Glasgow/Hybrid. You'll split your time between working from home and our Glasgow office, located just a few minutes walk from Queen Street and Central Station.The RoleXL Event Lab is on the lookout for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing in-house digital marketing team. As a data-driven expert with a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in performance marketing, you will play a key role coordinating creative digital campaigns that build awareness, create engagement, and ultimately drive sales. Selling both to entertainment buyers and directly to the ticket-buying public, XL Event Lab typically produces over 500 events in an average year.You can learn more about the company and our brands at . Each brand also has their own website which we encourage you to check out to get a greater understanding of the type of events we operate.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the company directors and Head of Digital to evaluate and refine the digital marketing strategy to increase reach, awareness and conversions across owned & paid channels such as PPC, SEO, social, email and websites.Build, monitor, and optimise paid media advertising campaigns across search & social platforms.Develop and implement best-practice SEO strategies that improve organic search rankings, drive highly qualified traffic, and enhance the online visibility of our brands. Design, build, and optimise landing pages, emails and marketing automation flows that capture leads, nurture, and convert.Hypothesise, run and report on regular A/B tests across multiple channels to optimise the customer journey, incrementally improving traffic and conversions.Collaborate with our web agency on the design, development, and maintenance of websites for each of our brands with a focus on the user experience.Manage analytics tools and implement tracking pixels to allow for accurate data-driven decision making.Produce regular reports clearly communicating performance against target KPIs, analysis with actionable insights, and recommendations for further optimisations.Contribute to writing compelling copy that resonates with our target audience.Collaborate with the Content Manager and creative agencies to commission high-impact, engaging videos, images and designs as required by the marketing plan.Carry out regular competitor research to monitor threats and identify opportunities with new channels and strategies.Essential Experience & SkillsCommercial acumen, with a proven track record of optimising digital channels and driving sales growth for D2C or e-commerce brands.Strong experience with Google Ads including keyword research, bid management and optimisation techniques.Solid understanding of SEO best practice and ranking factors with a demonstrable history of applying that knowledge to improve site rankings.Proficient with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar.Prior experience with Hubspot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp or similar email & marketing automation platforms.Familiar with CMS systems such as WordPress and WooCommerce.Comfortable using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, A/B testing and landing page optimisation tools.Analytical, with a passion for sifting through data to surface insights.Strong attention to detail.Creative, with a discerning eye for design and an instinctive understanding of consumer appeal.Excellent communication and written skills.Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing external agencies and digital development projects.Desired Experience & SkillsExperience of paid social platforms, such as Meta and/or TikTok.A degree in marketing/advertising or a quantitative focussed subject such as statistics or data analysis.Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Blueprint or similar PPC advertising certification.Comfortable using data visualisation tools such as Google Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
