Purpose of the Role The purpose of this role is to deliver outstanding and profitable work for two of our most reputable and valued clients across FMCG and retail. You will own the day-to-day responsibility for your client's digital activity, acting as the link between dentsu and the client and will manage the planning, organisation and monitoring of digital campaigns and projects. This role will be a 70/30 split across the two clients. Key Responsibilities Responsible and accountable for your client's overall digital business (with the support of the Digital Partner) and ensuring delivery of your client's digital roadmap. Supporting the Digital Partner with devising your client's digital strategy where required. Ensuring the work delivered to your client is of the highest standard - reviewing all key documents and presentations prior to distribution (particularly those documents produced by junior team members). Helping to educate the wider planning team on digital topics or emerging trends that could impact broader media planning. Demonstrating a strong understanding of the key issues facing your client's business and leading the sharing/interpretation of these. Delivering regular thought pieces on the changing digital landscape. Working with the specialist teams to raise the level of digital expertise and applying valuable analytics and insight to the digital data. Actively manage the Digital Account Manager, by providing guidance and mentoring. Qualifications + Skills Experience of leading commercially sound media planning across digital channels. Solid understanding of digital fundamentals (e.g. role of channel, KPIs, benchmarking, trafficking/ad ops, reporting, measurement) Proven experience of collaborating with partner agencies and media owners. Project management skill and experience - Ability to draw up plans for delivery to strict deadlines and with all milestones plotted, follow up on key deliverables and mitigate any risks. A trusted client advisor with strong people management experience and skills. Ability to analyse numerical data and pull out reasonable and rational conclusions to underpin innovative strategic plan.
