An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Product Specialist to join our Rolls-Royce team at Bristol.This is an exciting time to join the Rolls-Royce Defence Digital Innovation Team. A vibrant and dynamic team, we deliver an innovation pipeline to demonstrate and then productionise new digital technologies for our business. We are currently managing a range of digital capabilities at various TRLs (Technology Readiness Levels) including customer management, online services, digital twins, in-service forecasting and sustainability transformation.We apply Agile and DevOps methodologies to integrate between the Business requirements and the Digital delivery to ensure timely, cost effective and right-first-time solutions for our users and customers.The team is seeking a talented individual to join our high-performing, value-orientated team. This is a vital role within our DevOps team which will work across the Defence sector to understand the needs of the business, ensure these are captured and delivered as requirements for our digital capabilities, and support the use of those capabilities in operation. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.What you will be doingApplying an innovation mindset to create market leading digital customer solutions.Working flexibly across the priority digital solutions for our business, including customer management, forecasting and transformation.Work with our global user-base and IT business analysts to elicit digital capability requirements, ensuring that business requirements translate into a backlog of technical product developments.Engage in the team delivery of the capability backlog, promoting a solution-focused approach.Actively involved in user acceptance and testing of product releases, and ensuring that end deliverables meet the expectations of the users.Support the business in adopting and exploiting their digital toolsets, and promoting process improvements.Promoting strategies which will exploit the value of data in our digital toolsets, producing insights into our products and customers.Presenting widely to stakeholders and customers our showcase digital technologies and innovations.Who we’re looking forAt Rolls-Royce we embrace agility, are bold, pursue collaboration and seek simplicity in everything we do.
