Digital Project Support Officer
Location: Hybrid - Occasional office and event attendance required.
Directorate: Children's Services
Contract Type: Temporary (3.5 months)
Pay Rate: �20.02 per hour PAYE
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm with 30 minutes unpaid break.
DBS Requirement: Standard DBS, Opus People Solutions will process one for you if not currently held)


Job Overview:
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for a Digital Project Support Officer to support the Children's Services directorate. This is a hybrid role ideal for a technically skilled and detail-oriented individual with a passion for digital solutions and administrative excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and administrative assistance to the project team
  • Manage and maintain databases and spreadsheets, including data cleansing and manipulation
  • Conduct web content accessibility checks using Adobe Pro to ensure compliance with accessibility standards
  • Update and maintain social media platforms (primarily Facebook), and gather relevant feedback
  • Manage shared service email inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses
  • Liaise with various Children's Services teams to identify and support digital information needs
  • Maintain and update the Special Needs Index (SNIX) - training provided


Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, including data filtering, formulas, and pivot tables
  • Demonstrated ability to perform web accessibility checks using Adobe Pro or similar tools
  • Experience managing and updating web content and social media channels
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Prior experience supporting digital or IT-related projects in a business or public sector setting
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices for digital content
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment


Desirable:

  • Previous experience within a local authority or children's services environment
  • Familiarity with disability services and/or working with SEND information systems
