This is a leadership role, focusing on strategic issues, management and business development, on a regional and national scale, whilst maintaining a high-level involvement in project deliveryThe Director role leads on all aspects, with a more strategic and forward-thinking remit, with involvement in national initiatives and new ventures.DeliveryAs a fully experienced civil and/or structural engineering designer, you will lead on project delivery, maintaining a high-level overview of significant projects and using your skill and experience to ensure that we are delivering satisfactorily and minimising any potential risks to the business, stepping in to resolve complex design problems.ManagementHaving gained much management experience throughout your career, you will lead the management of our people, projects and business, ensuring that we develop our staff, successfully deliver our projects and meet business targets, swiftly taking action wherever required to resolve potential issues.Business DevelopmentWith an established track-record in business development, you will be a well-known leader in the local construction industry, attending and hosting business development activities, actively participating in local industry clubs and committees and speaking in public about industry best practice on behalf of Hydrock and the industry.For our key clients, you will be a go-to figure, nurturing positive working relationships and possessing an in-depth knowledge of our clients’ organisational structures and business needs.What's great about Hydrock 'in a nutshell' We are a British-owned integrated multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy of over 900 staff in 21 offices across the UK.
