Job Title: Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Director – Executive CompensationLocation: London, UKCompany Overview: Our client is a leading automotive company, renowned for its innovative solutions and market leadership. Headquartered in London, the company operates on a global scale, driving advancements in automotive technology and design.Position Overview: The Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Director will specialize in executive compensation and report directly to the Global Head of C&B. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and managing executive compensation programs that align with the company’s strategic goals and attract top-tier talent.Key Responsibilities:Executive Compensation Strategy:Develop and execute the executive compensation strategy in alignment with the company’s overall business objectives.Ensure the competitiveness and compliance of executive compensation programs with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Program Design and Implementation:Design and implement executive compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentives, long-term incentives, equity plans, and other executive benefits.Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to inform compensation decisions and maintain competitive positioning.Stakeholder Management:Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, and finance teams to ensure alignment and integration of executive compensation programs with business strategies.Present executive compensation recommendations to the Board of Directors and Compensation Committee.Compliance and Governance:Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards related to executive compensation.Prepare and manage regulatory filings, disclosures, and executive compensation reports.Performance Management:Develop and manage performance-based compensation programs that drive executive performance and support the company’s strategic goals.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of executive compensation programs, making adjustments as needed.Communication and Education:Communicate executive compensation programs and policies to executives and other stakeholders.Provide education and guidance on compensation-related matters to HR partners and business leaders.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCP, GRP) preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with a focus on executive compensation.Extensive knowledge of compensation practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders.Proven experience in designing and managing executive compensation programs in a large, complex organization.High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
