*JOB PURPOSE*
* Under the supervision of the VP Digital Employee Experience, this position will oversee the user experience across the entire service helping to shape a best in class Digital Workplace offering
* Foster a proactive approach to feedback from our users from the definition of a new service through to the operational service
* Develop a champions network to embed the voice of the employee into everything that we do
* Define and implement critical success factors across the service to ensure the quality of service and user sentiment is fully understood
* Safeguard the user experience across all delivery and service offerings
* Feed into the global strategy to ensure future technologies are fully exploited to further uplift the experience to our employees
*KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES*
* Oversee all user journeys across the service, ensuring they align to our commitment to a best in class service offering with the employee experience central to everything we do
* Input into the DWP vision and strategies ensuring alignment to the needs of our employees
* Support the wider team when reviewing Security and Compliancy policies to make sure that the impact to the users is always considered and a pragmatic balance of risk vs experience is applied
* Continuous feedback, user sentiment analysis and research programs across all employee touchpoints
* Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business needs and to optimize the use of information technology
* Working with our L&D team oversee all digital skills training needs for our employees to maximize the value they can extract from our platforms and tooling

* Other members of the T&I Department and the DWP team
* VP Digital Employee Experience
* MD Service Delivery & Operations
* Technical teams operating in our European Central operations
* Executive Leadership Team
External:
* Third party technical support teams under external partners
* Hardware and software vendors
* Contingent labor (as required)
*KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE*
* Proven experience as an IT Director or similar role
* Sound understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
* Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
* Experience in controlling information technology budget
* Excellent organizational and leadership skills
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
* Experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the organization
* Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
*Context/Environment:*
* Full time position
* Required in office M-F or as policy requires
* Off hours technical work as needed
