We are hiring a Director, Hot Spring World to join our UK team!DISCOVERThe Director of Hot Spring World has general P&L responsibility for all aspects of the UK retail business. This includes overseeing and managing the retail sales team, the retail marketing efforts and delivering business results based on agreed upon objectives. The role requires collaboration with the various teams as it pertains to optimizing the performance of the retail business in the UK, be it with the finance teams to drive the right insights and course corrections, human resource teams to optimize team performance or the operations teams with regards to the proper delivery, quality and timeliness of their efforts for maximum consumer satisfaction.YOUR RIPPLE EFFECTManage day-to-day store operations, ensuring smooth running of all activities and maintenance of high standards in all areas of responsibility and team accountability. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain the showroom and inventory to the highest standards. Proactively develop, implement and drive retail business strategies to attract new customers, enhance store visibility, and increase sales performance. Lead the retail marketing team and strategy to develop promotional events and drive traffic, leads and sales conversions. Oversee financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and managing store expenses to maximize profitability. Collaborate with the supply chain teams and manage stock levels effectively.Lead, train, and motivate store staff to exceed customer expectations in service and sales, including establishing sales targets and key performance indicators, managing and developing employee performance, conducting performance reviews and organizing/conducting training programs. Maintain an in-depth understanding of company products and services to offer customized solutions to customers and improve sales outcomes. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to recommend improvements and adjustments in products and services. Monitor location performance and assess opportunities to increase sales in each store.Handle customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. WHAT YOU BRINGProven leadership experience in retail or related field. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong understanding of business management, financial principles, and retail operations. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to problem solve and make decisions effectively under pressure. Strong customer service orientation and negotiation skills. Knowledge of the hot tub or related industries is preferred but not required. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable country/local laws. Proficient user in MS Office suite, specifically Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience with a CRM like Salesforce. Must be able to prepare reports, performance reviews, worksheets, charts, schedules, procedures, and other data as necessary. ERP system experience is helpful. Organized and detail oriented. Able to present information to a group of co-workers, supervisors, managers or higher-level executives.Valid driver's license with good driving record.
