Director of Education & EventsSalary: c. £70K. Hybrid: 2 days per week from London office.We're seeking a new Director of Education & Events to join a small professional membership association with global membership in the healthcare sector. Managing four direct reports and a wider team of ten staff.The new Director of Education & Events will lead on the strategy for the educational programme and events calendar (with assistance from the Events Manager). It's a leadership role which includes developing new programme initiatives, bringing forward commercial strategies to diversify revenue streams and commissioning potential new events for the association. The role is a blend of being strategic focussed and hands-on with management, whilst being visible at major events, which includes three main congresses and two international events. International travel to the U.S and Europe is included and could be expanded upon if the successful candidate projects a positive ROI by pushing for more overseas corporate partners. Experience with managing budgets is key as the education team is pivotal toward the financial performance of the organisation. Being able to offer education to more professionals in the healthcare field, simultaneously expanding membership, will go a long way in creating more income. We are looking for someone with senior level strategic experience in running education programmes (ideally within a membership body), who is comfortable managing a committee, creating reports on budgets, managing projects and has a background in educational events (both in-person and virtual).
