Director of Engineering / Head of Engineering / VP Engineering Opportunity Location: London - 2 days a week in London Employment Type: Permanent Company and Role Overview: I'm recruiting for a leader as the most senior technical decision maker for an eCommerce start-up to help build a SaaS product with premier retail intelligence powered by cutting-edge AI/ML. The system gathers large amounts of product-centric data and uses AI/ML to automate PPC advertising to drive business outcomes. Leading a team of 10 consisting of 2 direct engineering lead reports and 8 across software engineering, QA, and data science. You will drive the technical roadmap and direction of the architecture using your knowledge of building a SaaS platform, understand the business implications of making big decisions and your affect on the company. The role reports into the CEO and working closely with the CPO. We are open to people with a full-stack background, ideally more back-end/data weighted but their tech stack is: TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js/React, Python, MongoDB, Kafka, Temporal.io, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS Interview Process: Initial screening call with HR Zoom interview with Engineering Leadership In-person meeting with CPO/CEO TL;DR: Recruiting for VP of Engineering/Head of Engineering role at eCommerce start-up SaaS B2B product.
