Role Snapshot: Leadership: Spearhead the development and market launch of advanced Active Implantable Medical Devices (AIMDs), influencing both internal programs and overall company strategy. Experience: Bring your diverse background in medical device categories, including diagnostics, surgical tools, and drug delivery systems, to our dynamic environment. Innovation to Market: Translate groundbreaking ideas into commercially successful products, assessing feasibility from concept to market launch. Technical and Business Acumen: Balance technical innovation with financial viability, aligning product development with sustainable business models. Your Role Involves: Leading the full engineering lifecycle of sophisticated implantable medical solutions. Crafting and executing project strategies that meet complex design challenges. Ensuring compliance with top regulatory standards in neuromodulation and sensing. Directing diverse teams within the global regulatory framework, emphasizing quality and compliance. Expanding the team's capabilities to foster innovation and technical excellence. What You ll Do: Develop and execute comprehensive project strategies for innovative engineering solutions. Manage the entire engineering process from prototyping to pre-clinical testing and production scaling. Apply your deep knowledge of bioelectronics to ensure functional and regulatory excellence. Technical Qualifications: Advanced degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Over 10 years in the medical device industry, focused on active implantable devices. Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), 3D CAD, and manufacturing design in a regulated setting. Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory standards, including FDA and CE marking for Class III devices. Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 14708, and other relevant medical device standards.
