In this role, you'll have the chance to take autonomy over decisions across the creation of this platform, as well as building and scaling a team from scratch! As one of the most recognizable organizations in their space they strive to combat blockers that global businesses face, providing their corporate services to build a partnership for success for both parties.As the Director of Engineering, you'll be responsible for creating a modern, innovative software platform to cover all integrations, including access and transact with clients, 3rd parties, and other enterprise systems. You'll be successful in this position if you have previous experience scaling within a start-up and are an expert across the platform remit from data extraction to API management. Reporting into the CTO, this is will be the perfect role for you if you are looking for somewhere you can make strategic decisions and see a real impact on the organizations core functions.We are looking for someone who has:Experience of driving strategy and execution across greenfield projects (specifically creation of a middleware and platforms from scratch)4+ years in a Head of Engineering or Director roleExperience leading API development teams and creation of API platformA background in start-up/scale-up environments, with evidence of successful scaling previouslyStrong experience in building teams from scratch, with an aptitude for hiring great talent and honouring an excellent, driven cultureExpertise in 3rd party management, for both internal and customer-facing productsA background in software/platform developmentStrong communication and senior stakeholder management skillsThis is a remote role, with possibility for occasional travel 1-2 times a year to Asia.They are looking to pay up to £150,000 per annum base salary + bonus + benefits.For more information please send your CV to ##### and #####.
