Director of Finance

A client of ours on the outskirts of Stowmarket area are recruiting a General Manager and Director of Finance join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and paying �60,000 - �75,000 per annum depending on experience.
Collaborating with the Managing Director, key duties include but are not limited to:

• Lead daily operations at the factory and manage the senior team to optimise departmental performance.
• Lead the Finance team in delivering monthly/quarterly accounts the company and the sister company.
• Implement new finance software (Xero) and integrate existing systems.
• Design growth strategies, maintain budgets, optimise expenses, and set policies.
• Ensure employee productivity and development.
• Oversee recruitment and training.
• Improve operations/financial performance and oversee staff assessments.
• Prepare reports for Directors and Board.
• Provide solutions and address issues such as profit decline or employee conflicts.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this General Manager and Director of Finance position:

• Proven experience as a Finance Director and General Manager.
• Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and business operations (Manufacturing and Production, QHSE, Sales and Marketing).
• Accountancy qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• BSc/BA in Business, Engineering, or a relevant field.
