HQ/#####/010 Director of HR and Governance CCMS (The Council for Catholic Maintained Schools) Lisburn Salary: £60,637- £68,224 per annum (pro-rata) (under review) Term:Permanent Closing date: Monday 6th January#####5 5.00pm Director of HR, Finance and Governance The Director of HR, Finance and Governance will lead and co-ordinate all aspects of the Human Resources and Governance functions of the Council. This will include setting the strategic vision for, and the development and management of internal and school facing services and policies that support delivery of the Programme for Government (PfG), the Department of Educations Corporate Plan, and the Councils Corporate and Business Plans. Essential Criteria Candidates must meet the following essential criteria at the closing date for applications: 1. A degree or equivalent third level qualification. 2. A minimum of three years experience at a senior level in an organisation, or a service/function within an organisation, of significant size[1] of successfully leading at least one of the following: Human Resources Governance 3. Have significant experience of leading and delivering strategic objectives which have involved working with and influencing other senior professionals and decision makers having worked successfully within rigorous governance and accountability frameworks developing organisational, strategic policy and leading change leading and managing people or teams 4. A demonstrable understanding of current developments in education and the principles of managing public money. 5.Access to a form of transport to meet the requirements of the job.
