With around 2,000 staff across NI, ROI, Isle of Man and England, Praxis has developed a strong reputation as an innovator with a commitment to providing person centred and tailored services to individuals with a broad spectrum of needs. 4c Executive is currently supporting Praxis Care in the appointment of a Director of HR and Learning and Development who will report to the Chief Executive and join a stable and driven senior leadership team. The Director of HR and Learning and Development will support the organisation and its employees as it continues to grow and evolve. Leading and transforming a large HR and Learning and Development function, through the development and delivery of clear and measurable strategies for HR and Learning and Development as well as the development of the respective teams. Praxis Care is keen to appoint a highly credible and experienced HR leader, with the gravitas and skills both at a strategic and operational level. In addition, the Director of HR and Learning and Development will have the following qualifications and experience: CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent. At least 4 years' at senior management level having demonstrated broad and progressive experience in a human resources and/or learning and development function, ideally within a large and complex organisation. Evidence of having created, implemented and delivered a human resources strategy which supported the delivery of key organisational performance metrics. Strong track record of leading and proactively managing employee relations within a complex environment. Experience of leading, motivating and managing a HR team. Knowledge and experience of robust budget management. Location: Belfast or Ardee.
