The business is in a period of transition and investing heavily in future capability.RoleThe Operations Director is a board level role within the organisation and has a wide range of responsibilities including:Delivering a redefined manufacturing strategy which will involve a site relocation.Embedding the company vision and culture within the new site.Defining the capital agenda requirements and plans for the next stage of the business.Leading, managing and coaching a senior leadership team to deliver a complex change programme whilst delivering business as usual.Implementing key operational performance measures and monitoring these to ensure sustained, incremental performance improvement.Defining the OpEx agenda for the business and ensuring that it is adequate for the needs of the future organisation.Creating a high performance culture whilst maintaining an environment where individuals are valued and respected.Supporting the wider business in delivering improvement projects to achieve overall financial and performance goals.PersonThe successful candidate will need to be a self-starter, someone who has experience of complex site projects such as closure, start-up and relocation. They will have the gravitas to operate in a senior role within a dynamic business and will be confident, assertive, a team player and someone with excellent numerical and verbal skills. Extensive experience in continuous manufacturing processes is essential.
