The person holding this position will be responsible for coordinating processes and operations within the core departments of the subsidiary.The UK business has seen sustained revenue and headcount growth over the last 3 years and is now in need of a strategic project-focused individual to take the growth to the next level. The business has a passion for helping companies diversify their financial strategy with the aim of bringing technology to market faster, meaning this role is perfect for anyone with a passion for technology.The Operations Director will sit in between the Department Heads and the Country manager to assist in deliver of strategic projects, developing, improving and implementing efficiency plans.Do you see yourself playing this role? Then, don’t hesitate and go for it!🚀OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLEPerformance targets: Work alongside the Country Manager and Department Heads to agree and define KPI’s and play a key role in the management and tracking of department performance.Operational Efficiency and Productivity: Work alongside the Country Manager and Department Heads to set strategic goals to improve operational efficiency and increase productivity, with a focus on optimising company-wide processes and improving team performance.Financial and Budgetary Plans: Work alongside Finance and the Department Heads to control budgetary performance.Digitalisation: Take a key role working alongside the Department Heads to identify and deliver digital strategies.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESOn a daily basis, the Operations Director will be supporting:Business department (KPI’s Analysis, Strategic Plans, Targeting, Market Analysis).Consulting and Grants departments (KPI’s Analysis, Profitability, Efficiency, Quality, Metrics)Procedures: Definition, Implementation, Data Analysis, Trainings, Follow ups, information repository, PPT’s, Docx, etcCoordination tasks: meetings, information, documents, tools, etc.More specifically, she or he will be performing the following tasks in the medium/long term:Analysis of the UK Market business behaviour.Identification of the market needs to define development plans.Definition of specific KPIs depending on the needs of each market.Definition of business KPIs for the UK Market.Identification of the main data of each market to be used to monitor UK Market.Definition of conditions to develop and implement business control tools.Development of standard analysis models and reports.Follow up on business KPIs with the responsible of each division.Follow up on the development plan with the areas/departments involved.Identify opportunities for business growth.POSITION REQUIREMENTS- Background: Sales and/or Business Administration- Experience requirements: previous duties as Sales Director or Head of Sales- Desired skills: Leadership, ability to guide, delegate and motivate.- Availability to travel on a regular basis to our Scottish workspace- Knowledge of our industry (i.e. prior experience in the English innovation Funding scheme)- Experience in fast-growing organisations.-----------------------------------------------------------------------F.
