Operations Director £100,000 + package South of England Our client is an innovative, fast-paced business experiencing sustained growth and expansion. Who are actively seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead, manage, and drive forward a civils organisation in the utility industry.This is an exciting opportunity for a reputable Operations Director to join our client's team and oversee key operations in the UK. The role involves ensuring efficient management of operational teams, including their health, safety, and environmental arrangements, as well as meeting commercial and financial targets.Responsibilities Develop annual regional forecast identifying key activities and prioritiesParticipation in accident and incident review sessions Implement and communicate operational strategies and solutions Set and Manage performance targets Ensure staffing levels are met and managed Ensure professional management standards are adhered to Ensure the operations business continuity and recovery requirements are met Contribute to the organisation’s strategic plan, including commercial and financial projections and management systems, personnel, office space and other requirements while ensuring that processes are in place to implement, monitor and report progress on the plan Ensure that health, safety, social, environmental, quality, commercial, financial and operational systems and procedures are applied to all works and projects undertaken Ensure that sub-contractors are managed and perform to the same standards as direct teams Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience of working in a Senior Operations/ Director role Civil engineering, Highways, Utilities Experience of managing high volume of projects and framework contracts Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills, reporting to a board/senior stakeholders is essentialPlease apply to this advert with your up to date cv if you would like to apply.
