As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the performance of the New Business Development Team to ensure they meet sales targets in line with the company’s business plan
Key Responsibilities:
Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings
Co-create, agree, and achieve sales Budgets and targets for team and individuals
Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and projecting future performance.
Lead sales generation & growth
Work with existing management team to ensure successful implementation of new logo’s
Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
Building and growing solid relationships with leading trade bodies.
Finding potential partnership opportunities for the business with a view to expanding its reach and/or improving its processes.
Identify prospect needs and requirements.
Create and execute a strategic sales plan and sales campaigns that expands customer base and extends our reach
Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
Oversee the New Business sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are exceeded by holding regular meetings, setting objectives and monitor progress regularly.
Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a team of New Business sales people
Evaluating performance and productivity of your team.
Continuously develop the team ensuring they are using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
Generate leads, build and nurture client relationships through client meetings to help build long lasting relationships by understanding their needs.
Deliver an agreed personal annual sales target. Lead sales process with SME prospects.
Willingness to gain a deep understanding of the hire industry as well as the solutions we provide.
With the support of pre-sales and colleagues provide prospective clients with face-to-face or online demonstrations of key core products offered by inspHire.
Providing a consultative sales approach that may require more than one meeting with the prospect ensuring that all key objectives are met during the meeting.
Work with the Telemarketing Team to cultivate and improve lead generation.
Helping manage and implementing best practice for our internal system such as Hubspot and contract management tools
Working alongside our overseas offices assisting with opportunities/requests as and when needed.
Ensure all agreed monthly reporting is delivered promptly to stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
:
Essential
Demonstrable experience of managing new business sales teams
Strong communication skills
Creating and implementing a sales plan
Meeting sales goals by monitoring progress
Analysing sales data
Lead sales process and provide presentations, chair meetings and possess sales closing skills
Management and leadership skills
Developing budgets
Mentoring and coaching salespeople
Generating reports and giving presentations.
Strong commercial awareness in all areas
Demonstrable experience of working in a software solution sales environment
Technical understanding from an application and technology perspective
Demonstrable success in a similar or related role
Ability to build effective relationships at all levels
Self-motivated & Proactive in approach
A valid UK Driving Licence with suitable car for business use
Knowledge of ERP or business IT systems
Desirable
Understanding of the Rental Industry
Appreciation/experience of products and services in the inspHire offering
