The impact you ll own As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the London-based sales team ARR target and executing on the company s sales strategy. You will lead, motivate and manage a team of Account Executives at our London, UK HQ, to ensure high performance and achievement of sales target across new client ARR and existing account expansion. You will recruit, train, and develop the UK-based sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. You will design and execute a scalable sales strategy. You will have a strong understanding of enterprise-sales KPIs, customer needs and resolve any escalated issues or concerns. You will also support the team in negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring that all terms are aligned with our company's goals and objectives. You will prepare responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) in coordination with our team. You may need to represent Climate X at industry events and cultivate senior relationships via our memberships in leading trade associations such as UK Finance, as business needs require. You will also work collaboratively with our broader team: founders, the existing sales team and leadership, marketing and events, Director of Science who supports customer-facing engagements, climate scientists, product team, and strategic partners. Essential Skills Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience operationalising sales KPIs, and hiring and developing a highly performing sales team. Experience of operationalising and working within the MEDPICC sales methodology framework or equivalent. Front-line experience as a highly performing enterprise sales account executive, with a proven track record driving high value enterprise sales revenue, and can demonstrate success managing end-to-end, enterprise sales cycles (ideally with leading banking and asset management clients). Outstanding relationship management skills, customer obsession and a consultative approach to sales putting customer value and driving ROI at the heart of the conversation. Experience working with HubSpot (or equivalent CRM tool). Desirable Skills Demonstrable experience working a similarly high growth role or evidence that you're ready to take your responsibilities to the next level. An understanding of physical risk, stress testing, and other key functions of the Risk function within banking. Demonstrable ability to explain complex topics catered to different audiences, seniority levels & sectors. Ability to build relationships across business leadership, technical stakeholders, and users in client organisations. Passionate about climate change and its impact on the global economy. Experience working in a fast-paced SaaS or technology start-up Fluent in English, additional languages are very helpful.
