You will drive adoption of new features and trends in core processing, accelerators, and system hardware, focusing on improved security, reliability, and performance. /p p br strong Responsibilities: /strong br - Understanding new Arm architecture and IP features, their implementation and what that means for existing software components and tools. Devising how to promote their benefits to software ecosystems and resolve issues that arise in their adoption. br - Analysis and deep understanding of software solutions currently deployed in products, in particular the major open-source software projects such as Linux. br - Delivering software improvements back to the relevant open-source projects as a reference for Arm customers to create their own systems from. br - Working with Arm’s OS, OEM and Silicon Partners to drive standards that enable the optimisation, differentiation, and fast evolution benefits of Arm’s Partner model br - Building new software paradigms onto Arm reference hardware designs br - Profiling the performance of the system and innovating ways to improve br - Leading validation of the functionality, security and safety /p p br strong Required Skills and Experience: /strong br - Knowledge of Arm based computer Architecture and the range of SoCs and devices that are created using Arm hardware IP. br - Experience of software profiling, instrumentation, and optimization for real world applications and workloads such as AI stacks, run-time compilers and multimedia processing. br - Strong understanding of complex multi-component computing systems with proven low-level OS/device driver development or integration experience br - Authoritative knowledge of C or C++ development with proficiency with optimizing applications, workloads, and compilers br - Experience of the software lifecycle: has taken complex software from concept to production and maintenance /p p br strong Nice To Have Skills and Experience: /strong br - Experience with Android, ChromeOS or Windows software and systems br - Experience with Linux, Linux distributions, Cloud/Edge applications and networking software br - Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence software stacks, algorithms and tooling br - Knowledge of multimedia system designs involving GPUs, compositing display processors and image signal processing /p p br strong In Return: /strong br Our UK offices are outstanding places to collaborate.
