HQ/#####/009 Director of Strategic Planning and School Provision CCMS (The Council for Catholic Maintained Schools) Lisburn Salary: £60,637- £68,224 per annum (pro-rata) (under review) Term: 3 years (subject to review with the possibility of extension)* *This post is currently offered as a fixed-term contract to cover for an employee on secondment. It is envisaged that the fixed-term will be at least 3 years, and can be extended by one further year, but will ultimately be subject to the length of the relevant secondment. Closing date:Monday 6th January#####5 5.00pm Director of Strategic Planning and School Provision The Director of Strategic Planning and School Provision will be responsible for the strategic vision for the planning and provision of the Catholic maintained school estate so that it meets the future needs, enhances sustainability and promotes inclusivity. Essential Criteria Candidates must meet the following essential criteria at the closing date for applications: 1. A degree or equivalent third level qualification. 2. A minimum of three years experience at a senior level in an organisation, or a service/function within an organisation, of significant size[1] of successfully leading: Strategic Planning Project or Programme Management 3. Have significant experience of leading and delivering strategic objectives which have involved working with and influencing other senior professionals and decision makers having worked successfully within rigorous governance and accountability frameworks developing organisational, strategic policy and leading change leading and managing people or teams 4. A demonstrable understanding of current developments in education and the principles of managing public money. 5.Access to a form of transport to meet the requirements of the job. Desirable Criteria The following criterion may also be applied: 6. A relevant professional qualification.
