A leading global creative agency, now part of a renowned global advisory firm, operates across major cities including London, New York, and the Gulf. The agency leverages creativity to drive positive change in businesses, offering a comprehensive range of services such as Investor Communications, ESG and Annual Reporting, Corporate Branding, Employee Experience, and Experiential Film.
The Role
The agency seeks a dynamic and experienced strategist to lead its sustainability communications and ESG reporting services. Reporting to the Partner group, this individual will be instrumental in delivering top-tier sustainability communications and ESG reporting strategies. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience in advising and building teams for ESG and sustainability reporting and communications, likely acquired within a specialist creative agency or as an in-house Head of Sustainability.
The candidate should be well-versed in major global frameworks such as SASB, ISSB, GRI, TCFD, and GRESB, as well as current and upcoming ESG reporting regulations like the EU CSRD and ESRS. A proven track record in transforming these frameworks and regulations into impactful investor and stakeholder communications is essential. Knowledge of investor-focused ESG and digital strategies, along with experience in brand and employee engagement, will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborating with the investor communications and reporting lead to develop a world-class reporting offer, with a focus on the entrepreneurial growth of ESG and sustainability reporting and communications.
Providing strategic counsel to clients on reporting needs, with a deep understanding of key issues such as value creation, business models, strategy, stakeholder engagement, purpose, culture, values, risk, and governance.
Managing and developing client relationships to ensure delivery excellence and identify opportunities for organic growth.
Driving new business development, including leveraging networks for new leads, and leading and winning pitches.
Raising the profile of the agency’s ESG offering internally and externally, acting as the subject matter expert on all ESG reporting and sustainability communications issues, and engaging in relevant industry events and thought leadership activities.
Line managing and mentoring direct reports, ensuring they are challenged and supported to achieve their full potential.
Upskilling the multidisciplinary team on the latest developments in sustainability communications and ESG reporting.

They will be an independent thinker, self-starter, and trusted advisor with a strong track record in overseeing the delivery of various communications and reporting projects.
The role requires extensive experience in sustainability communications and ESG reporting, with a deep understanding of the evolving regulatory and best practice landscape in the UK, EU, and globally.
