Director of Technology / VP of Engineering Title: Director of Technology / VP of Engineering London Permanent HL10984 Finatal are currently exclusively working with a global midmarket Private Equity Fund that operates within technology/software, business services industries. With over £1 billion AUM they are now looking for a Director of Technology or VP of Engineering to work directly at the fund leading the Tech Due-Diligence strategy pre and post deal as well as focus on developing value creation strategies for the portfolio. Role: Reporting to the Fund CTO you will lead the assessment of current technology strategies and growth plans across various domains including IT, Data, Cyber and Digital Strategy within portfolio business. Conducting technology focussed due diligence on potential investment targets, providing insights and advising on viable investments that enable optimisation. Driving the overall engineering and technical value creation strategies across the portfolio to maximise return on investment. Contributing to the development of commercial B2B products. Requirements: Strong track record in building engineering/technical strategies for a diverse range of businesses, preferably within either a consultancy or Private Equity Fund environment. Experience in B2B SaaS is highly desirable. Proven technical expertise with a background in software development and team management.
