Spinwell is recruiting for a Director for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTOR

The client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director to lead and grow our Public Sector Advisory practice. The ideal candidate will be deeply immersed in the finance sector within the UK and possess a comprehensive understanding of government spending and budgeting, particularly in advisory, digital, and managed services. This role demands strong government relationships, a keen desire to establish and grow a new business unit, and a strategic vision for long-term success.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE DIRECTOR

• Experience: 10-15 years of experience in the finance sector, with a significant portion spent in public sector advisory roles.


• Sector Knowledge: In-depth understanding of government spending, budgeting processes, and the advisory landscape in the UK.


• Relationships: Established network of strong relationships within the government sector.


• Business Acumen: Proven track record of establishing and growing business units from the ground up.


• Finance Expertise: Understanding of the commercial finance sector is a plus.


• Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams.


• Ambition: A desire to grow into a partnership role within a large advisory firm.
