We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Director to establish and lead a Birmingham office for an SME consultancy. The role primarily focuses on Project Management and Quantity Surveying, requiring someone who can build and manage a dedicated team.
The successful candidate will join an SME Real Estate Consultancy as a Director for their Birmingham office. The ideal candidate will have a background in Project Management or Quantity Surveying, preferably with MRICS accreditation. This role offers the chance to shape the business's future, attract new clients, recruit staff, and be part of a larger group.
This consultancy is known for adding value to clients by fully understanding their key objectives and mitigating potential project risks to ensure successful project delivery. Their services, which include Project Management and Quantity Surveying, will also be provided from the new Birmingham office.
Their extensive multi-sector experience in Project and Cost Management enables them to add significant value for clients. By comprehending key objectives, their team aims to minimize project risks and ensure successful outcomes.
The consultancy has managed projects across various sectors, including Residential, Office, Hotel, Leisure, Health, Student, Large Scale Infrastructure, and MOD projects, with budgets ranging from £100k to £100M. Whether providing project and cost management, acting as an employer’s agent, or performing quantity or monitoring surveying, their focus remains on adding value for every client.
We are now looking for a seasoned Director from an established consultancy to lead the Birmingham office. The successful candidate will receive support from the Managing Director and the Chairman to build the team and access services from other offices during the growth phase. Director Requirements: - Experience: Proven experience as a Director, ideally with MRICS accreditation. - Leadership: Ability to lead both Project Management (PM) and Quantity Surveying (QS) teams. - Business Development: Demonstrated success in developing teams and increasing client fee income. - Client Acquisition: Capability to secure new work immediately. - Office Setup: Previous experience in setting up an office or division within a business is preferred. - Sector Knowledge: Experience in sectors such as Build to Rent, PRS, PBSA, Residential, and Commercial. Compensation Package: - Base Salary: £90,000 - £130,000 - Equity Stake: Equity in the new Birmingham office - Benefits: Private medical healthcare, pension, and death in service cover
