Salary:
Up to £47,500 per annum, On Target Earnings up to £54,625 per annum. Plus, Veolia benefits
Hours:
40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
Location:
Home based with travel to our London offices near Kings Cross when required (out of pocket expenses will be claimable)

What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for the design development and coordination of utilities and MEP building services
Liaise with internal stakeholders within the Veolia District Heating team, other Veolia departments and customers to ensure that the generated design is in compliance with the project specification and requirements.
Participate in the selection, evaluation, appointment and management of external design consultants and resources to ensure they meet their contractual obligations.
Represent the business to ensure that both internal and external customers are kept informed as to progress of the design works and requirements are being met; and that the detailed designs generated represent the least cost technically compliant solution.
Coordinate our works to meet client programmes working with the clients appointed professional team.
Ensuring the design of the district heating network considers the natural environment and minimise our impact on it.
Design development of district heating and other MEP services from RIBA Stage-1 to RIBA Stage-4
What are we looking for?
Experience in District Heating Design including expansion mitigation calculations
Fully conversant with general mechanical and electrical building services
Utilities design and coordination
Civils associated with trenches, building entries etc.
District Heating Network Design
Minimum 5-years AutoCAD Experience (2D & 3D)
HND Built Environment
Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme - SSSTS is desirable but not essential
It is desirable that you will be CIBSE CP1#####0 Heat Networks Designer Qualified - if not training to be undertaken in 6-months
Full driving licence
