Are you a Document Controller looking for a new role? Are you looking to work with a well known contractor in the Norwich area? ARe you looking to work on a major project? If so, we may just have the job for you!

We require a Document Controller for a permanent contract, based in the Norwich area.

This position is a full time role and will be based on site.

You will report to the Project Managers for any day to day issues and overall site issues.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Controlling all information/drawings flow through a bespoke online Document Control system
  • Tracking and chasing comments on outstanding or late information from Subcontractors and consultants
  • Reviewing the quality of incoming information to ensure that it has been issued correctly with the right title, revision numbers and checked by sender and signed before issue
  • Ability to use Excel spread sheets to keep drawing register, and other required design registers.
  • Managing external printing resources
  • Keeping an A3 and A1 set of current drawings and updating as required. All drawings must be date and status stamped and put into files or rack within two days of receipt.
  • Producing weekly update reports from the online system, on issued information each week
  • Assisting in compiling the O&M manuals

You must have:

  • Experience working with online Document Control systems and managing workflows
  • Good planning and organisation skills
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • The ability to work within a strongly focused team
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
