A Building and Construction client of ours in the Colchester area are recruiting a Document Controller to join their team. This is a 9-month FTC maternity cover position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and paying �25,000 - �29,000 per annum depending on experience.
Reporting into the Technical Design Manager your key duties with include but are not limited to:
- Set up, copy, scan and store documents
- Manage requests for documentation from clients
- Issuing of design drawings and documentation
- File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage
- Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation and projects
- General administrative duties such as filing and scanning
- Adhoc duties as required by the team
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Document Controller position:
- Document Controller or Administrator experience essential
- Strong IT skills in MS office including outlook, excel and word
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to multitask
- Highly organised
- Excellent communication skills
- Construction and building industry experience desirable but not essential
