Connect are seeking individuals to get started with our Livingston based client as a Document Handler.

What's on offer?

  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
  • Paid weekly at £12 per hour
  • Temporary contract

As a Document Handler, you will be responsible for handling various confidential documents; with your day-to-day duties including:

  • Organising files and documents
  • Preparing documents for scanning
  • Safely storing and disposing of files
  • Carefully following processes
  • Ensuring confidentiality of information
  • Using IT to assist with storing documents

This role would be a good fit for individuals with previous office/admin experience and/or can demonstrate a good understanding of computer literacy. Combined with the following skills and traits:

  • A basic level of computer literacy
  • The ability to copy information with great attention to detail
  • The ability to understand, communicate, read and write the English language
  • The ability to follow clear direction and instructions and cannot deviate from the process detailed
  • Undertake some manual handling tasks (typically this will involve lifting and moving boxes up to 20kg
