Domestic and Commercial Electrician - WiltshireDorset

We are seeking a Domestic Electrician with the following experience below.

Full time - 45 hours per week

Location- North Dorset / South Wiltshire / East Somerset

Salary up to £42K and Call out (1 in 8)

Call out Standby allowance £150 per week 

Over time x1.5 Monday to Saturday after 12pm

Over time x2 Saturday PM to Sunday 12am

On call paid door to door

Due to continual growth, we are looking for additional electricians/approved electricians to undertake all aspects of electrical works in domestic housing and commercial premises in the Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset areas

Responsibilities:

• Electrical test and inspections
• Upgrading of heating systems
• Consumer unit replacements
• Rewires of domestic premises
• Reactive maintenance works
• Kitchen and bathroom upgrades

Basic Competencies:

• Experience working as a fully qualified trade’s person.
• Experience working in occupied and unoccupied properties.
• Experience working in housing sector
• Understanding of Testing and inspection.
• A knowledge and understanding of health & safety regulations.
• An understanding of the principles of good customer care.
• The ability to plan and organise your own work.
• The ability to attend and deal with out of hours emergencies.

Essential Competencies

• A Fully qualified Electrician accredited with the following (or equivalent):-
• A completed apprenticeship
• City & Guilds 236 (part 1 and 2)
• A valid driving licence and the ability to drive a company van and comply with the requirements of the company insurers.
• A knowledge and understanding of health & safety regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391 (inspection & testing)
• ECS Gold Card
