Job Title: Domestic Energy Assessor
Location: Bristol, UK (with regional travel)
Type: Self Employed // £150 - £200 per day plus milage

Hatched Talent Solutions is supporting a growing Energy Assessment business that provides first-class energy and safety compliance assessments across the Southwest. They're seeking a Domestic Energy Assessor to join their growing team and deliver services such as Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and Legionella Risk Assessments to domestic and commercial clients.

As the Energy Assessor, you'll play a crucial role in promoting sustainability and helping clients meet Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES), all while working alongside experienced professionals committed to quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities 

Advice

- Recommend tailored energy-saving measures to meet individual property owner needs. 

- Ensure high standards for retrofit assessments delivered by service providers and partners. 

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, materials, innovations, and regulations to enhance internal resources. 

- Educate residents on the benefits of behavioral changes, renewable technologies, and possible retrofit measures in reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions. 

 

Assessments 

- Conduct EPC assessments, including home surveys, household questionnaires, RdSAP evaluations, and energy modelling. 

- Carry out Legionella Risk Assessment's.

General Responsibilities 

- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry.

- Maintain accurate records of completed assessments.

- Commit to rigorous continuous professional development (CPD). 

- Undertake additional duties as required by your line manager.
