Domestic Gas Engineer / Plumber

We are a small plumbing and heating supplies company based in the centre of Doncaster. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Domestic Gas Engineer / Plumber to join the team.

Working as part of a small team, you will be installing, servicing and maintaining a wide variety of domestic gas boilers and heating systems and plumbing, whilst maintaining high standards, customer
satisfaction, self-motivation and health and safety.

Responsibilities and expectations:

• Install/replace/service domestic gas systems.
• Diagnose gas systems, aiming for a first-time fix.
• Service gas equipment aiming to lengthen the life span of the system.
• Ensuring workmanship is of the highest quality and in line with customer regulations.
• Obtain high levels of self-motivation to complete workload in required time frames.

Experience and requirements for the role:

• As an experienced and confident domestic gas engineer, you will have the necessary Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, HTR1, CENWAT, ACS,
• Unvented Hot and Cold Water Systems essential
• Minimum of 2 years experience working within the domestic gas field, including 1st and 2nd fixing.
• Experience installing/servicing Air Source heat pumps, preferred but not essential.
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Heating. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Full and clean driving licence
• IT competent
• Be able to pass a DBS check

Desirable but not essential Qualifications:

• LPG, CKR1,CONGLP1LAV, CONGLP1PD, CONGLP1RPH

Salary package:

• Competitive salary and package including a company van, pension contribution to Nest Scheme.
• Salary dependant upon experience.

• Domestic gas: 2 years (Required)
• Plumbing: Minimum 2 years (required)

Licence:

• Driving License (Required)
