Domestic Gas Engineer – Paisley – Facilities Maintenance

FM Search & Select Ltd is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join a leading facilities maintenance company based in Paisley. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong background in domestic gas systems, as well as experience in plumbing, electrical work, and minor fabric repairs.

Package:

• Competitive salary £38,000 - £40,000

Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, and installations on domestic gas systems.


• Work closely with mechanical engineers as part of a multi-skilled team.


• Diagnose and repair gas, plumbing, and electrical faults efficiently.


• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.


• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.


• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Qualifications & Skills:

Essential:

• Recognised SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing/Heating (or equivalent).


• Gas Safe certification (CCN1 & CENWAT).


• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.


• Full UK driving licence.


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.


• Willingness to travel and complete a Disclosure check.

Desirable:

• Commercial Gas Tickets (COCN1 or CODNCO1).


• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification.
