C# .NET DeveloperOur client is a highly profitable and ambitious financial service business that has grown from scratch to servicing over £30bn of assets under management and 20% of the uk financial adviser marker. Its cutting-edge Technology function and people have grown and progressed with the company and is on the next stage of its phenomenal journey and we’re now looking to help further strengthen the Development team, by appointing up to three C# .NET Developers.Reporting to the Head of Development, you will take a key role in the design, development and maintenance of new and existing web applications. Your key responsibilities as C# .NET Developer will include: Developing custom web applications using the .NET Framework, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and SQL ServerDesign, develop, and test web applications using .NET, HTML, CSS, and other relevant technologiesManage software architecture, design, and coding from concept to finished productConsult with end users to identify opportunities for process automation and cost reductionStay current with technical skills and industry trendsContribute ideas to enhance software applications As C# .NET Developer you’ll offer: Strong experience as a C# .NET Developer gained in a fast-moving commercial environment. Financial Services sector experience is attractive.Skills and knowledge:Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core or VB.NETStrong problem-solving and communication skillsFamiliarity with web technologies (ASP, HTML, VBScript, JavaScript).Knowledge of software design principlesExperience with Git for source code management, Continuous Integration and unit testing practicesAlso beneficial:Microsoft AzureFront-end frameworks (Telerik / Kendo).Object-oriented programmingRelational databases (SQL Server)Familiarity with accepted coding standards patterns and practicesRewards and Benefits:Salary £35,000 to £45,000 + bonus £6k (paid monthly) + pension + benefitsTo secure maximum pay/rewards, you must possess all outlined experience, skills, knowledge and qualificationsExcellent career progression opportunitiesFirst 3 months Full-Time in Office followed by Hybrid working (Up to 3 days working remotely each week depending on project needs)Free parkingHours 8.30am – 5.30pm, hol. 22 days + stats, increasing with serviceIf you are interested and suitable please apply!
