Our client is looking for an experienced Drainage Design Engineer to join their team in Brighton. The consultancy specialises in surface water drainage, flood risk and civil engineering design.
 
The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior engineers and have the opportunity to work hands-on in a supportive and professional environment.
 
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
 
- Assist in the design and development of drainage systems.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess existing drainage conditions.
- Utilize industry-standard software for drainage design, such as MicroDrainage, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
