The Company

My client is a company that specialises in complete drainage services to corporate clients managing domestic and small commercial drainage failures. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients’ needs whether it be a simple blockage, a drain collapse or a burst water pipe. Due to recent expansion, they currently have an opportunity for an experienced Drainage Engineer located in across the Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire regions. In this role, you will be expected to fulfil all drainage jobs to the required standards and the customer’s reasonable expectations . Full training and support will be provided.

The Role

You will predominantly be site-based undertaking all drainage jobs whilst ensuring, where possible, that work is completed on the first visit. You will be able to confidently explain to customers what work you need to carry out ensuring you leave them with peace of mind and confidence in the company’s abilities. We are looking for an experienced drainage engineer with a variety of qualifications such as street works, CSCS, High Pressure water jetting etc. Duties will include delivering a high-quality service to our commercial and domestic customers. It is fundamental that applicants have a positive "can do" attitude and a flexible approach to hard work and travel.

Responsibilities

· Basic Groundworks, drain repairs and reinstatements.

· Explaining drainage problems and quoting for required works.

· CCTV Camera survey of drains, record defects and recommend necessary repairs.

· Complete paperwork and send it back to the office electronically using the company mobile phone.

· High Pressure Water Jetting

The Requirements

· Candidates will have a background and experience working in the drainage sector.

· Preferably have a CSCS card, High Pressure Water Jetting, Confined Spaces.

· Candidates will have strong customer service skills and will be confident in dealing with home owners.

· Successful applicants will be subject to a criminal record and DVLA check.

The company are willing to pay a competitive starting salary plus enhanced rate overtime, lucrative commission structure, call-out allowances and the opportunity to train with and develop your career with one of the region’s premium drainage specialists. The on-target earnings for year 1 are circa £45,000. A company vehicle and fuel card will also be supplied
