We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join our secondary school in Leeds, teaching KS4 and KS5 students. This is a full-time position starting ASAP for 6 weeks.

Requirements:


  • QTS or PGCE in Drama (or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching Drama at KS4 and KS5 levels
  • Ability to teach A Level Drama is essential
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities

Responsibilities:


  • Teach Drama to KS4 and KS5, including A Level
  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons to inspire students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Prepare students for performances and examinations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the Drama department's curriculum and activities
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
